1. Why do you live where you live?

– I live in Orkanger because I really liked living here when I was growing up. Both my family and many of my friends live either in Orkanger or in the surrounding area, which is very nice! In addition, it is nice to live in Nerøra considering the distance to work and sports arenas, as I spend a lot time as a soccer coach. I can walk or ride my bike there all year around.

2. What is your favorite thing about living in Orkland?

– What I like best about living here are all the nice people I know. I also like that Orkanger has nearly all facilities within a short distance. I really enjoy spending time in the Idrettsparken – so many soccer fields in one place makes my soccer loving heart very happy! In addition, nature and hiking trails is close by, which is positive. It is also a short drive to Trondheim if you want to do something you don’t have the opportunity to do in Orkland.

3. What is your go-to activity in Orkland on a Saturday without plans?

– On a Saturday without plans, I like to do an activity in the morning, for example a hike outdoors, bowling or a swim in Orklandbadet. I usually spend the afternoon with friends and we watch soccer games together.

1. Why do you live where you live?

– I grew up in Evjen and thought that it as a nice place to grow up. When my partner and I, who is from Fannrem, were expecting our first child, a terraced house appeared close to my childhood home, so we jumped at the chance. We later moved to a detached house in the same neighborhood, and will probably live here for a long time. It is central, with shops, nursery school, school, bus stops and sports facilities within walking distance, which is important to me.

2. What is your favorite thing about living in Orkland?

– What I like most about living in Orkland is that my family and many of my friends live here. In addition, I like all the opportunities we have here in terms of sports, activities and outdoor life. We have every thing we need to enjoy an active lifestyle.

3. What is your go-to activity in Orkland on a Saturday without plans?

– On a Saturday without plans, I like to take with my one-year-old (youngest daughter) for a walk in the stroller. We enjoy walking in areas such as Bakkan, Vannspeilet and Orklaparken. Afterwards, I like to send my partner and the children to Orklandbadet, while my girlfriends and I have lunch at Solrun’s Heimlaga in the city centre. In the winter, we like to take the kids to go sledding or skiing in Ulvåsen or Knyken. A visit to the library is also very popular with the children, so if we have time we are happy to pop in there for a trip as well. There is always something to do!
