Krokstadøra

At the heart of Snillfjorden, where the Bergselva flows out, you will find the village of Krokstadøra.

Around 300 people live here, in the western part of Orkland. The quaint place of Krokstadøra is home to both a grocery store, an activity park, a campsite and a petrol station. A new municipal service building is also being planned.

Here you will also find Krokstadøra Oppvekstsenter, which consists of both a kindergarten, an after-school program and a primary and secondary school. The center is a short distance from the sea, forest and mountains – with all the opportunities it provides for nature experiences for young and old.
